About Me

Hey there, my name is St. Julian Cox III.

I’m an Augusta University graduate, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication. My primary focus when in school was developing my photography and audiovisual media production skills.

It’s difficult to verbalize the draw that photography has for me. There’s something about being able to create narratives and capture a myriad of emotions in a single image. The best way that I’ve heard it described was in a zhang + knight interview; “Visual poetry… if you write it down, it doesn’t make sense and it’s crap, but then when you shoot it and see it together with visuals and audio… then it’s something that you could never have written down.”

I’m making the move into video work, so be on the lookout for some new content in the near future.
